#10/20 – Your website is the ferry, not the island.

I love hearing people’s big ideas.

I love the audacity of their dreams.

I love their energy and excitement and optimism.

I love when people are passionate about helping other people.

I love when they bring people together.

I love when it makes a difference and builds a community.

I even love seeing my coffee sploosh across the table because the excitement got so real that wild, swinging arm movements were required.

(This ever happen to you? 🤦‍♂️)

I love it all.

But mostly I love when it gets practical.

I love when the vision becomes a plan.

And the plan is all about getting results for other people.

That’s why I don’t love websites exactly.

I love what websites DO — connecting people to solutions.

Because a website isn’t the destination — it’s the vehicle that gets people there.

So I like to remind myself…

Your website is the ferry, not the island.

⚡️ #10/20 Website tips for people people

Every day for 20 days, I’ll aim to share a little insight about websites, what they’re for and how to make better ones.

I make websites for people people.

If you’re a people person, I hope it makes you think differently about your website.
