Local sports clubs run on three things: volunteers, sausage sizzles and awful websites.

But only two of those are mandatory.

I figured my son’s local club deserved better, so I created a new website and email newsletter for them.

As with all clubs, Bangor FC are short on time and money, so I gave them a simple promise: the website would be useful and easy to maintain. As the committee members turn over and volunteers come and go, at least the website would hold them all together.

It’s not a fancy destination, but it is proof of a simple principle, that clear beats clever any day of the week and twice on a wet and muddy Saturday morning.
