We created The University of Sydney 360 tour (sydney.edu.au/here) to showcase the 163 year old campus, with its sandstone Quadrangle, wide avenues and modern architecture as well as its location in Sydney — from the harbour to the beaches and gritty Newtown.

Visitors can follow the film as it moves across the campus and across Sydney, exploring every scene in 360 degrees. Pausing at any moment allows visitors to stop and explore a scene to find out more about studying here.

Viewing the site on a mobile device provides an enhanced experience, allowing visitors to explore naturally as they move their device 360 degrees through any scene. They can also switch between watching the film and exploring a scene by simply twisting their device from landscape to portrait orientation.

This project was made possible through a great collaborative team effort. From the initial creative vision, through to the final product, the team pushed the limits in filming, technology and craft. The project has received tributes across the globe, and the University is already busy planning to expand The University of Sydney 360 tour in 2016.
